George Alfred Funeral Home

Opened in September 2017, George Alfred Funeral Home is located in the heart of Bridgtown, Cannock.

Historically the building housed the local village store and Post Office, and was also a Wedding Dress shop for many years. This is where O’Malley Family Funerals began.

The Funeral Home is dedicated to the memory of George Alfred Possee, our Grandad, who sadly died in 1984, before we ever got to meet him. However, thanks to our Mom, Uncle and Gran we were raised to know the dedicated, hard-working and loving man that he was. From very humble beginnings in the back-to-back houses of Birmingham he strived to provide for his family. Although we never met him, the impact of his love for his family has shaped our lives and enabled us to do what we do today.

Designed to make visitors feel at home, George Alfred Funeral Home has all the facilities to care for your loved one as well as space for us to meet with families.
